Our Mission 🌸 🌷🌺
As fashion lovers from the good days (before fast fashion was a thing) we’ve always had a soft spot for striking prints. 🌸 🌷🌺
So drawing on our years of industry experience in developing beautiful prints both in the UK and USA for numerous swimwear, active wear brands, we decided we wanted to dance to our own tune (big lockdown gratitude) and develop desirable accessory pieces we want to wear. 🙏
Incidentally, we are still working with the British print designer Julie Ringlet (below centre) that we met in New York in the heady 90s. 😍 She has designed prints for Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren and Diane Von Furstenberg to name a few, so we are in good hands.
Melding this with our lifestyle, our knowledge (Our founder's Master degree in Sustainable Fashion from UAL) we wanted to create fun, conversational products that are keepers. Never better expressed than Joan Crawford in the famous quote "Care for the clothes like the good friends they are".
Given the knowledge of the amount of clothes/accessories being produced that end up in landfill, one of our stipulations was that we wanted to only produce on demand. Around 1.75m tonnes of clothing and textile waste is created in the UK each year 1.2m tonnes of it ends up in landfill (can you believe that?) And it's getting worse!
That is why we created Cherchez la Femme.
We have made it our mission to provide all of our customers with the following:

- Customer centric support that is fast, friendly and efficient. And of course… extremely realistic prices for designer-led products.
But innovative products isn’t all we do:
We strive to combine realistic prices with fantastic customer service and UK and EU manufacturing. Although we can't compete with the UK high street, as we pay proper wages 😍 🌍 💚 - we do offer fast, efficient and friendly help!
